Quesilla
Not to be confused with Quesadilla
Make 4 sandwiches
4 hard rolls
2 tablespoons butter
4 slice of ham
2 cup shredded cheese (oaxacan or mozzarella)
12 fresh or sliced jalapeno peppers
4 onion slices
4 tomato slices
8 avocado slices
Half the rolls and assemble the sandwiches with the ingredients
as listed - using 1/4 of each ingredient per sandwich.
Melt the butter in a heavy skillet over low heat. Place the
sandwiches in the skillet while pressing down with a spatula.
Heat about 30 seconds on each side until the cheese has softened but not
quite melted.
